Meghan Seaman
Owner, Director, & Business Manager
As the owner & artistic director of On Stage Dance Studio for more than 20 years, Meghan has vast experience & skill in helping Stratford’s youth find joy and community through movement! While she has spent her entire life dancing, her gymnastics journey started much later, when she got the idea in her head that she wanted to learn how to do an aerial cartwheel before she turned 40.
Never one to back down from a goal, she sought out adult gymnastics classes, where she quickly fell in love with the sport and became hooked - shout out to Coach Merritt at Forest City Gymnastics for lighting that spark within, you’re the best!
With no gymnastics facilities in Stratford, and knowing first-hand how many benefits the strength, challenge, and fun of gymnastics can bring, Meghan was keen to fill this gap in youth activity - and after 20 years running On Stage Dance, is thrilled to keep learning, growing, pushing herself, and seeing what’s possible.
And while she may have hit her goal a few months late, YES, she can indeed do her aerial cartwheel!
Lindsay Otto
Head Coach & Club Manager
Gymnastics has always felt like a part of who Lindsay is. From as early as she can remember, it wasn’t just something she did- it was something that shaped her. She competed with the Stratford Opti-YMCA Competitive Team, and when she wasn’t in the gym, her basement became her own practice space- vaulting over the couch and perfecting floor and beam routines wherever she could.
Lindsay began coaching as a teenager, and her passion for helping others tumble, flip, and grow only deepened over time. She continued coaching while studying Human Kinetics at university, where she also began her National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) training. She is a Foundations Certified and Competition 1 Certified coach in Artistic Gymnastics, as well as a Foundations Certified coach in Trampoline.
After university, she continued coaching in the Kitchener–Waterloo area and eventually went on to lead the Stratford YMCA Gymnastics Program and the On Stage Dance Acro Program.
Lindsay has always dreamed of creating her own gymnastics program and is excited to bring one back to Stratford- a place where children can build strength, confidence, and a lifelong love of gymnastics in a fun and supportive environment.
